If this had been an actual emergency... I guess I shouldn't joke around like that in our current climate, but then again, in our current climate, some humor is just what the doctor ordered. I love it how everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is divided in two. Even "us" as people,
well, most of us, and even "us" as ourselves. It's only natural. Good/evil, yin/yang, Nathan McKinnon/everybody else. I guess? I don't know, but I can tell you this: it sure makes for good entertainment. It takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile; you catch my drift? Savvy?
Going Off Grid
This will be my last post until further notice, as I am going off the grid with my family to our cabin, including my four sons, who I adore and don't get to see as much as I would like. Unless, of course, the rural county to which we are traveling has got that slick new internet ya'll got in Fruita now! God, I hope not! Besides being with family, that is the allure of Norrie, Colorado—no television, no phones, no internet, all brain development, in a positive way. Speaking of... stay tuned to www.narrativeniche.com for some thrilling stories about Pitkin County in the 1800s!
I said, until further notice because, I may just decide to stay off the grid. It is so much more peaceful than here in the 3300 square-mile county of Mesa. Watch out rainbows, watch out browns! We're comin' ta getcha!
